The League can confirm they have received an appeal from Kashmir to their expulsion from the League.  It is anticipated that this appeal will be held early in the New Year.

Fixtures for next season will therefore not be released until the appeal has been heard.

Dec 14 2011

At their meeting on 5th December 2011, the League Management Committee decided to withdraw the membership of Kashmir CC from the League with immediate effect.  In reaching this decision, the Committee took into account a number of factors including amongst others:

  • Failure to reply to correspondence with regards to sporting conduct of players
  • Failure to attend meeting of the Management Committee when requested to do so in September and December
  • Continuous issues with club administration and in particular with regards to registration of players and submission of results

Kashmir have been given the opportunity to appeal the decision.

The League have received two new entries into the League from Eckington CC and a second team from Hollinsend Methodists CC. Consequently, the proposed line up for 2012 season will see three divisions of 8 teams, and one division of 6 teams.
